She's a Scene Queen!!! (Modern Mullet)

Lately I've been doing a lot of research on emo "scene" hair.  Emo hair is characterized by often black hair with random splurges of bright colored highlights. The emo haircuts may also have asymmetrical lines and different color background hair but the large majority of people with emo hairstyles prefer to dye it black. The hair is cut in either an extreme edgy bob, with choppy layers and a heavy bang, or a high fashion mullet that is long in the back and heavy short layers at the top and front of the head.

How can I repair my split ends?Do I need Piercing to be Scene?

Last night I sat down and attempted to interpret the high fashion or modern mullet on my mannequin. First, I decided that I wanted my mullet to be burgandy, almost red, and black. I purchased 2 packs of 10 inch Beauti Collection hair weave in a  burgandy (bottom) and 1b (top). I know you've been in your local beauty supplier and seen that hideous half and half hair....THAT!!! It actually doesn't look bad if its installed and cut properly . Here's my outcome. I made the edgy hair cut a little softer by bumping the bang and top layers more, so it could be wrapped and styled easily.
